Queen Mary's dollhouse, designed by Edwin Lutyens, was built 1921-24 at a scale of 1:12, complete with a libray of miniature books, many specially written for the project by famous authors of the day. A photo of the library is on pp. 632-33 of 'Royal house for dolls', by David Jeffrey, National Geographic magazine, vol. 158, no. 5, November 1980, pp. 632-643. |
